North Heights Baptist Church means more to us than "just a church". The first time we attended North Heights, we were very impressed on how friendly everyone was. We believe that EVERYONE at church took the time and shook our hands, give us a hug, made us feel as if we were special and that we mattered to them, and that they were just glad we were there. Since we've been attending North Heights (a little over a year now) we've grown to love the church and the people. We've had the wonderful blessing of Pastor Allen's teaching, caring, and sincerity. Pastor Allen also was a blessing, because he lead Frances Sweet's brother (Rickey Wiggs) to the Lord before Ricky passed away a few months ago. There's an old saying that behind every great man is a woman. Well, that's where Linda Allen enters the picture. We have also been blessed by Linda - her patience, understanding, "always standing by her man"--because of her love for the Lord, the church, and of course, her husband. North Heights Church has been such a blessing to us in so many ways, but most of all we've grown as Christians. Pastor Allen's teaching has helped us grow, understand, mature, and "wonder at and accept the blessings of God."
